VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT PERVAIZ ELAHI INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY BAHAWALPUR

 

Applications are invited for appointment on contract basis of suitable candidates having required qualification & experience for posts mentioned hereunder as per eligibility criteria defined in the Punjab Health Department Allied Health Professional Service Rules, 2012 (as amended), Punjab Health Department Technical Posts Service Rules, 2003, Punjab Health Department Paramedical Establishment Service Rules, 2003, Punjab Health Department Miscellaneous Posts Service Rules, 2003 and Punjab Health Department Ministerial Establishment Recruitment Rules, 2003.

 

Name of the Post BPS

 

1. Stenographer

1) Intermediate from a recognized Board and; A speed of 80 WPM in Shorthand and 35 WPM in Type Writing. (Preference shall be given to the computer iterate person).

 

2. Junior Operator Computer

Intermediate MS Office ICS (2 Division) with 40 WPM speed on computer. Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) from a recognized Board,

 

3. Junior Clerk

A speed of 25 words per minute of typing on computer in English; and (i) Proficient in Microsoft Office or any other compatible office application and shall demonstrate such proficiency. Intermediate (2 Division) 25 WPM typing speed.

 

4. Store Keeper

 

5.Junior Technician (Surgical Technology)/

 

6. Operation Theater Assistant

 

F.Sc. (Second Division) from a recognized Board having one or two years Diploma in relevant discipline of allied health duly recognized by Punjab Medical Faculty. If none is available, then candidates having

 

 

7. Sterilizing Operator

 

8. Junior Technician (Anesthesia)

qualification of Matric (Second Division) with Science from a recognized Board.

 

 

9. Junior Technician (Medical Pathology)

18-25 recognized by Punjab Medical Faculty

 

 

 

10. Junior Technician (Radiography & Imaging Technology) / Radiology (Dark Room Assistant)

 

11. Laundry Manager Diploma / Certificate of competency in third class Boiler Engineer from Directorate of Industries and Mineral Development (Boiler Inspection Wing) Govt. of the Punjab, Lahore with three years' experience in the relent field.

Matric or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Board

 

12. Record Keeper (Preference shall be given to the computer literate person).

 

 

13. AC Mechanic 

Matric or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and; Diploma or Training Certificate in AC Mechanic Course from a recognized Institute with one year experience in the relevant field.

 

14. Electrician

Diploma in Electrician Course from Vocational Institute or from any other recognized Institute with one year. experience in the relevant field.

 

15. Driver

LTV driving license issued from the Middle School Certificate from a recognized school and;

 

Terms & Conditions:

 

1) Both Male/Female applicants having domicile of Province of Punjab can apply.

 

2) Appointments shall be made, on contract basis, under "The Contract Appointment Policy, 2004" initially for a period of 03 years extendable subject to good performance.

 

3) Complete application along with attested copies of all educational certificates (like Matric, F.Sc. etc.) degrees / diplomas, copy of domicile, valid CNIC, work experience certificates (if any) and 02 latest passport size photographs must be submitted in the office of Medical Superintendent, Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology, Bahawalpur.

 

4) In case of 'O' Level & 'A' Level, equivalence certificate must also be submitted.

 

5) Applicants must present original documents at the time of interview.

 

6) Age relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt. of the Punjab, S&GAD Notification & Recruitment Policy, 2022.

 

7) Quotas shall be observed as per Recruitment Policy, 2022.

 

8) Recruitment shall be made strictly on merit in accordance with "The Contract Appointment Policy, 2004 / Recruitment Policy, 2022" and instructions issued from time to time by the Govt. of the Punjab.

 

9) Persons already in Govt. service should apply through their Departments along with NOC.

 

10) Incomplete applications as well as the applications received after the closing date shall not be entertained in any case.

 

11) Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase or decrease the number of posts at any level without assigning any reason.

 

12) No TA/DA shall be allowed for appearance in any test or interview.

 

13) Candidates are advised in their own interest to make sure before applying that they fulfill all the requirements of the rules relating to the post as mentioned above.

15) Evaluation of the candidates shall be done as per the "Selection Criteria for Appointment" as stipulated in the Recruitment Policy, 2022 of the Government of the Punjab Furthermore, Selection Committees may devise some written/ practical tests for evaluation of candidates for any particular post to evaluate their capabilities as part of the "Interview" and assign marks accordingly.

 

16) Interview / Test of the candidates for the above mentioned posts shall be held in the office of Medical Superintendent, Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology, Bahawalpur. The details are as under: -
